Our services include collectible coins, trading cards, Funko Pops!, video games, tickets, autographs, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, WATA, Card Ladder, and the Long Beach Expo trade show. Since 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items, employing over 1,700 people across various locations including Santa Ana, Jersey City, Seattle, Canada, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
We seek PSA Graders to authenticate and grade trading cards (sports, non-sports, and TCG). Ideal candidates will have comprehensive industry knowledge, expertise in PSA standards, and be detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Preferred experience includes 1-3 years of grading as a professional, dealer, or collector.
You will report to the Director of Grading and work from our Jersey City office.
What You’ll Do:- Serve as an expert in PSA’s card authentication and grading standards
- Authenticate and evaluate trading cards efficiently and accurately
- Maintain daily grading production goals
- Enhance knowledge through research and experience
- Stay updated on industry developments and counterfeit methods
- Share knowledge with the team to improve skills
- Participate in meetings and training sessions
- Knowledgeable about trading cards, tickets, and collectibles
- Expert in counterfeiting and card doctoring methods
- Understanding of card grading systems and standards
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Organized with the ability to focus over long periods
- Team-oriented and detail-oriented
- Experience of 1-3 years in grading or related fields
- Prolonged computer use and sitting
- Hand use for tasks
- Ability to hear alarms and instructions
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Use vision aids and work in dim lighting
The hourly range is $20-$32, based on experience, location, and skills. Entry-level positions start at $17/hour.
