SQL database infrastructure in AWS Cloud.

As a Database Engineer II, you will oversee the administration and operation of No

SQL systems such as Apache Cassandra, Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, AWS Open Search, Dynamo

DB, Document

DB, and AWS Redis, collaborating closely with development and systems teams to build highly scalable, highly available architectures.

• Design, implement, support, administer, and maintain No
  
  SQL database infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
• Perform cluster administration: planning, installation, upgrade, patching, security, data retention, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in building scalable, highly‑available server structures that deliver web services for customers.
• Collaborate with application development and system administration teams to test, troubleshoot, and optimize database‑driven applications.
• Monitor production, UAT, and other environments to proactively address performance and scalability issues.
• Understand ISO‑specific infrastructure architecture and cost‑optimization goals; complete special projects as assigned.
• Provide on‑call and priority support outside business hours.
• Offer technical leadership and guidance to other DBAs on No
  
  SQL technologies and infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience administering No
  
  SQL databases and Linux environments.
• Expert knowledge of No
  
  SQL systems such as Open Search, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Solr, Redis, and related tools.
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and Python or other programming languages.
• Background in development and experience supporting critical enterprise database applications 24×7.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Experience with IaC tooling, especially Cloud Formation and CDK.
