Service Now Developer – Integration experience + SQL
Join Tata Consultancy Services as a Service Now Developer focusing on integration solutions and backend SQL development.
Responsibilities- 6-8 years of solid experience with the administration, configuration, maintenance, integration, and upgrade of the Service Now platform
- 4+ years of experience with Service Now development with a focus on integrations
- Understanding of Service Now data model, tables and relationships
- Extensive experience with Service Now integration solutions including Service Now API's, SSO, SAML, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST and SOAP
- Experience developing Service Now APIs, Service Now Workflows, Flow Designer, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules
- Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, Powershell
- Experience with Service Now Integration Hub for rapid integration development and automation
- Knowledge of Service Now orchestration for automating IT processes
- Solid understanding of data mapping, transformation and synchronization techniques
- Experience implementing REST API integration with third party tools and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Good functional and technical understanding and implementation experience with Service Now ITOM discovery and CMDB
- Good knowledge and experience with Service Now CSDM framework
- Ability to create custom reports, dashboards and visualizations
- Familiarity with Service Now Performance Analytics
- Experience with backend SQL Server development is preferred
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Design, configure, implement and maintain Service Now IT Operations Management (ITOM) Discovery of both on‑premises and cloud resources (AWS & Azure)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define and implement integration solutions to meet the business needs
- Provide technical stewardship and play a key role in the transformation of IT Service Delivery while supporting the current state
