Position summaryWe are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead our data modeling and information architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop data model standards for Conceptual, Logical, and Physical models
- Collaborate with Domain/Tower Information Architects, stakeholders, and application teams
- Represent the organization at Firm-wide and Line of Business forums
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Information Architecture standards
- Promote best practices in metadata management, data lineage, and data quality
- Perform assessments and audits to maintain compliance and optimize processes
- Mentor and support architect team members
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with leadership in technical domains
- Proven experience as an Information Architect or similar role
- Strong skills in data modeling, metadata management, and governance
- Ability to manage workload and teams under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and data standards
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with large-scale, global initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Data Mesh Technologies like Databricks
- Ability to analyze and describe data architectures for diverse audiences
