The Professional Services Project Manager represents Meta Option with authority to the customer, leading the implementation team and owning the project. The role ensures delivery within cost, scope, and time constraints, acting as the primary interface with customers, managing expectations, developing risk mitigation strategies, resolving issues, negotiating, and communicating internally and externally using Meta Option’s implementation methodology.
Major Responsibilities- Project management and ownership of multiple, concurrent medium‑to‑large‑sized, complex solution engagements, improving the Meta Option implementation methodology.
- Proactively manage projects: develop task lists, schedule resources, set goals and priorities, ensure deliverables, report status, track and resolve issues, and secure customer acceptance.
- Implement change management processes.
- Follow standard Professional Services operational processes and guidelines.
- Act as primary interface with customers to manage expectations, develop risk mitigation strategies, and resolve issues.
- Serve as point of escalation for complex high‑risk engagements.
- Ensure engagements are on‑time and on‑budget.
- Identify additional sales opportunities arising from engagement work.
- Maintain an average of 50% utilization for billable projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, supply chain, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of technical project management experience.
- Leading multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- PMI and/or Scrum Alliance certification.
- Experience with SAP ERP, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage implementation.
- 5 years of ERP software implementation experience.
Travel:
This role requires some travel within USA cities, states, and Canada to meet with clients and project requirements.
