  • Financial services in Corporate / Regulatory tech / Market Surveillance
  • Understanding of PMO processes and project management (Prince) principles is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of process modeling and BPM
  • Min + years modeling and designing business processes
  • Anyone with Signavio BPM tool experience is a major advantage.
  • Preferred experience of using BPM tools and BPM notation
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Visio, and MS Project
  • Experience working with business operations team and understanding of technology languages and environments will be preferred
  • Industry standard delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and use of relevant tools (JIRA , Confluence etc.)
  • End to end SDLC cycle and business change management cycle
  • Exposure to skills from multiple subject areas such as Operating Model, Process Design, Digital and Technology
  • Support the Product Owners, Design Leads / Operations Teams, Cross functional areas and leadership team
Job Description
  • The goal of the Business Process Modeler is to document the development of Target Operating Model processes via understanding of business requirements, technical architecture, and high-level design via the use of business process modeling tools and techniques.
  • This role will also support efforts aimed at building and maintaining an effective process architecture asset which can be leveraged / reused in support of initiatives and technology strategy development.
  • This role will collaborate with all areas and levels of the business and technology organization for the purposes of providing a modular view of the organization's business capabilities and processes and their relationships.
  • This role will leverage broad technology knowledge to support the evolution of process models to technical implementation and guide the development of process modeling assets that effectively integrate with any existing information models, service models, and business rules.
  • Role will be to assess current state and model a target state business process model to drive and achieve defined requirements and design.
  • This role will have multiple competing deadlines so ability to prioritize and communicate effectively at different levels is a key skill to have.
  • Serves as a fully seasoned / proficient technical and business resource; provides business process knowledge and capabilities as team member / individual contributor or lead a team.
Role Expectations
  • Experience of driving to the desired result in time and achieve sign offs from different stakeholders like Product Owners, Technology heads, Risk & Compliance LOB heads and senior leadership team
  • Partner with various SMEs to scope projects in-scope business processes based on divisional reference model
  • Work closely with business architecture and development team to ensure process requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs.
  • Develop current and / or future state business and technical process models based on modeling standards and reference models.
  • Translate business process models and rules into functional, technical requirements, and business rules.
  • Provide process team program and project management coordination and updates
  • Ensure process modeling deliverables are adhering to divisional standards and are peer reviewed.
  • Develop and / or enhance current business process modeling standards.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business units and senior leadership
  • Prior experience summarizing and presenting complex issues to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to influence tactical / strategic decisions with key business partners
  • Taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution
  • Influencing and relationship building / management skills
  • Creation and maintenance of assigned business / technical process models and business rules
  • Influencing functional and non-functional requirements and supporting various teams for effective process design / modeling
  • Ensuring accurate translation of requirements into process model and ensuring process design elements are incorporated into technical design and associated test suites
