PLM Migration Manager

• 10+ years of experience with end‑to‑end PLM implementation and migration, primarily hands‑on and managing migration solution design and execution.
• 3–4 large end‑to‑end data migrations into PLM tool sets such as Windchill and Teamcenter from various target systems.
• Experience working with an onsite‑offshore model, collaborating with customers, product vendors, and service partners seamlessly.
• Strong analytical understanding of CAD and non‑CAD data and its constructs across multiple PLM and ERP enterprise systems.
• Overall knowledge of database structure, PLM data across tables, relationships, and data models, with data transformation insight.
• Good understanding of the Windchill PLM data model and database architecture.
• Hands‑on experience using the Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) tool and familiarity with WBM database architecture.
• Knowledge of WBMFF or CAD profiler framework.
• Proficiency in Oracle (SQL/PLSQL) and Core Java.
• Understanding of ETL processes (extract, transform, load).
• Experience in CAD/non‑CAD data migration.
• Development of custom scripts for extraction from various source systems and loaders where needed.
• Managed the lifecycle of data migration scripts through creation, validation, and approval stages with customers.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries and scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Data model, data mapping, and transformation expertise.
• Experience executing smooth data migration rehearsals.
• Resolution of issues arising from rehearsals and documentation for customer reference.
• Strong pre‑ and post‑migration validation skills and processes.
• Client and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Development of migration competency and practice, including tool building and process standardization.
• Excellent business communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with multiple migration tools and execution.
• Familiarity with core business processes, preferably in a discrete manufacturing industry.
• Technical resource who will participate in solution design through execution.
• Migrate data from legacy PLM and older PLM versions to the latest target PLM version using various migration tools.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience.
• 10+ years of direct work experience in migration projects, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Exposure to the medical devices industry and delivery of projects in that space with knowledge of UDI and Regulatory Hub.
• Competent and proficient understanding of enterprise‑wide solutions such as ERP, PLM, and others.
