At Kuehne+Nagel, we are seeking a talented Computer System Validation (CSV) Engineer to join our Contract Logistics team. This is a remote role within the United States, offering the opportunity to support validated systems, compliance, and digital excellence across our healthcare and regulated logistics operations.

As the Computer System Validation Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of Contract Logistics IS solutions for implementation and ongoing projects via systems configuration, escalation path, system and data quality assurance, systems performance reporting, and training of the Key users & warehouse management lead personnel to achieve Contract Logistics IS business objectives.

You will be responsible for training colleagues; and for the support and administration of the computer systems our Contract Logistics warehouse operations utilize. This includes but is not limited to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Business Intelligence applications, Integration, Voice or Light Guided Picking systems and PCIP/Centiro. In addition to having a good oversight of general system use, the Contract Logisitcs IS Specialist will have in depth knowledge in a particular system or process.

You will work closely with Contract Logistics Operations, IS national, regional, and corporate teams.

  • Responsible for train the trainer approach and support WMS users and operations on WMS/TMS related topics and attached applications
  • Participate in new customer implementations including configuration, testing of applications and go-live support
  • Production of working instructions for IS/IT and support the creation of training documentation
  • CSV - Validation Planner, Documentation Expert, Testing Coordinator, Cross-Functional Collaborator.
  • CSV Execution - initial and periodic validation, guidance on system lifecycle management, change management processes, data integrity and security controls.
  • Participate in joint continuous improvement initiatives with operations
  • System validation - ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements
  • Participate in quality and compliance audits as needed
  • As part of the escaslation path, Monitoring of incident reporting queues (RT) including after hours support on a rotation basis for WMS/TMS and BI
  • Release management - perform testing for software release installation updates to the WMS and other applications.
  • Specialist point of contact for at least one system or process within the Contract Logistics IS Portfolio. (e.g. EDI Mapping/Integration, Carrier Platforms, Computer System Validation, WMS/TMS)
  • National and international travel as necessary in the execution of local and regional customer implementations.
  • Other duties as required from time to time by the company. Work hours may vary and change as business requirements flex.
What we would like you to bring
  • Must have associates degree with a focus on IT Information Systems, Engineering, or Quality
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • 2+ years of experience in a 3PL (Third‑Party Logistics) operational environment.
  • Experience supporting or working within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated operations.
  • 2+ years of working knowledge of GxP, GDP, and GAMP 5 principles, including system compliance, documentation standards, and controlled processes.
