Job Overview
The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) team develops, deploys, and reports on programs that ensure effective use of third parties and affiliates to meet JPMorgan Chase's strategic goals. The program builds awareness, global consistency, and disseminates regulatory requirements.
Project Manager – Vice PresidentAs a Project Manager – Vice President, you will implement projects and processes to drive strategic priorities, business transformation, and operational efficiency in a fast‑paced third‑party risk management environment.
Job Responsibilities- Manage all activities for key strategic initiatives from inception through closure.
- Define problems/needs and communicate solutions to decision makers and stakeholders.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and influence change and process improvements.
- Create project plans, monitor milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Report project statuses to stakeholders using standard formats and meet timelines.
- Track issues, escalation, and resolution; monitor project risk trends and concerns.
- Engage stakeholders during requirements gathering, feedback sessions, focus groups, and user groups.
- Develop project communications and artifacts to support initiative delivery.
- Work closely with CTPO Governance, Risk, and Design teams to review and prioritize technology enhancement requests.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, process improvement, governance, and technology within financial services or operations environments.
- Knowledge of risk management and control principles.
- Strong written and oral executive‑level communication skills, conveying complex information clearly, compellingly, and persuasively at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, synthesizing program information and translating it into insights and visualizations.
- Ability to support development of strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Good business judgment, proactively identifying and addressing issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long‑term solutions.
- Proven leader and influencer able to effect firm‑wide change.
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in learning new technologies, including AI/ML.
- PMP, Prosci Change Management certification, and/or consulting firm experience a plus.
- Ability to identify key issues, gather data, investigate, and develop actionable recommendations; defend point of view in face of resistance.
- High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
