Production Technician

Hours of Operation: 8AM – 4PM (Monday through Friday)
Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000 Annually (Based on Experience) / Exempt Position
Location: On-Site / Jersey City, NJ

The Production Technician senior performs daily production activities in an ISO regulated clean room. They produce products for the consumer market by assembling components by hand, adding finishing touches, and performing in-process quality checks on machine-produced parts. They will perform basic scheduled maintenance on the production equipment, troubleshoot as necessary, and assist with packaging of materials and finished products.

• Completes necessary manufacturing records legibly and accurately.
• Completes filling documentation (production manufacturing records) and associates batch record transactions to ensure all components meet requirements pertaining to lot numbers, expiration dates, intermediates, reconciliations, etc.
• Cleans work area and decontaminates work surfaces according to defined procedures, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Communicates with internal teams to ensure laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration are completed as scheduled.
• Uses basic laboratory equipment (e.g., scales) for manufacturing and filling activities.
• Possesses mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and basic maintenance.
• Operates automatic and semi-automatic filling and pouching equipment proficiently.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment, determines maintenance needs, and troubleshoots during breakdowns.
• Assists in training staff on processes and procedures.
• Keeps the Production Manager informed of product and schedule status, especially regarding delays and non-conformities.
• Prepares finished kits for gamma sterilization.
• Assists with warehouse tasks as needed.
• Knowledge of Program Logic is a plus.

• Good Documentation Practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
