Position: RN/LPN Unit Manager

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

Shift: Full Time, 7 AM – 3 PM

Pay Rate: $43–$50 per hour

Acclaim Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN or LPN Unit Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure exceptional care for our residents while leading and guiding nursing staff.

• Assist DON and ADON in managing day-to-day nursing operations.
• Ensure all nursing staff adhere to job responsibilities and facility policies.
• Address complaints and grievances with appropriate reporting to the DON.
• Oversee unit management, staffing, and scheduling to optimize coverage and minimize overtime.
• Implement counseling and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Supervise professional and non-professional nursing staff.
• Participate in committees and quality assurance activities.
• Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate nursing skills in resident care.
• Oversee MDS completion and collaborate on resident discharge planning.
• Participate in recruitment, interviews, and candidate selection.
• Foster a compassionate and resident-focused environment.

• Valid RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare setting.
• At least 6 months’ experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing.
