Overview
Registered Nurses are needed for multiple full-time positions (40 hours per week) at K-12 school sites located near Jersey City, NJ, with opportunities also available in Newark, Maplewood, East Orange, and surrounding areas. These contract roles extend through the current school year, ending June 23, 2025, and require onsite presence. Nurses will provide essential healthcare services to students throughout the school year.
Responsibilities- Conducting school health services such as physical examinations, immunizations, and hearing and vision screenings
- Maintaining up-to-date cumulative health records for all students
- Administering first aid according to established first aid procedures
- Advising teachers on health issues related to students well-being
- Serving as a 1:1 nurse for pediatric and K-12 students who require individualized care and attention
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in pediatric nursing or school health settings preferred
- Ability to handle 1:1 nursing care for students with specific health needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to maintaining accurate health records and following protocols
Location:
Onsite positions available across Jersey City, Newark, Maplewood, East Orange, and neighboring areas in New Jersey, approximately 15 miles from New York City.
