Role SummaryThe SAP Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business acquisition and expanding existing client relationships by positioning SAP solutions and associated services. This role focuses on consultative selling, pipeline development, and closing opportunities. The individual will work closely with solution architects, delivery leaders, and partner teams to align SAP capabilities with client business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and pursue new SAP sales opportunities across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation through deal closure.
- Execute account planning strategies to expand footprint within existing clients.
- Drive revenue growth through license, cloud subscription, and services sales.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business challenges, processes, and transformation goals.
- Position SAP solutions as strategic enablers, articulating value propositions and ROI.
- Collaborate with SAP solution architects and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and statements of work.
- Lead client presentations, executive briefings, and proposal defenses.
- Work closely with SAP, alliance partners, and internal stakeholders to support joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing teams on campaigns, events, and lead-generation activities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM updates in alignment with management expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or SAP-focused sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative sales environment.
- Strong understanding of SAP solutions.
- Experience selling professional services, managed services, or transformation programs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working for an SAP Partner or Systems Integrator.
- Established network within SAP, enterprise clients, or industry verticals.
- Familiarity with SAP licensing models and cloud subscription sales.
