Fitness Technician

LIVunLtdis looking for a Service Technician and/or Service Apprenticeto join our team and work throughout the state of New Jersey.

At LIVunLtd,Service Technicians are leaders in the fitness industry and part of a skilled team of individuals who are in control of their advancement through our technician career path and other career opportunities throughout the company. As a Service Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd.

Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd; we need the best.

We also hire for our technician apprentice program in all of our service areas. We encourage all mechanically inclined individuals with or without experience in the service and repair industry to apply. Paid training is provided.

• Travel to client locations
• Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits
• Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customer
• Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order
• Provide communication to customer both in scheduling times to come out and what is going on with their equipment
• Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines
• Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories

• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
• Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
• Follow with Company Uniform Policy

• Be able to lift/move fitness equipment & parts up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance and clear an MVR Check.
• Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology

The Service Technician / Apprentice position with LIVunLtd pays $18-$25/hr based on experience and location of service.

All of our Service Technicians are also eligible for acompetitive performance basedbonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.
