Overview
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer or Fullstack Developer with strong Java expertise to join a leading Enterprise Finance and Risk Technology organization. This team supports a critical Reporting Application used by the CFO organization, which integrates data from multiple sources and delivers multi-tiered reporting capabilities. The client is undergoing significant modernization efforts, and this role will focus on back-end development for feature enhancements within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and enhance backend features for a reporting application supporting financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, sustainable, and modular code design.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and peer design reviews.
- Support monthly release cycles and two-week sprint deliverables.
- Contribute to a peer design system to promote knowledge sharing and avoid duplicative efforts.
- 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer or Fullstack Developer with strong Java expertise.
- Deep knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented design principles.
- Proven ability to build scalable, flexible, and reusable code.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Fullstack development experience, particularly with Angular.
- Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Apache Spark.
- Understanding of finance and/or financial services domains.
- Familiarity with AI language models and their integration into enterprise applications.
$63-$70 per hour for the duration of the 12 month contract.
