Java - Intermediate

Position: Java - Intermediate
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Duration: Contract to hire

• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
• Write secure, production-ready code and review/debug peers’ work.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and architects for operational improvements.
• Implement CI/CD and TDD best practices to ensure stable, scalable solutions.
• Build REST and SOAP web services using Java and Spring.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
• Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• 5+ years of experience in Core Java development
  .
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  .
• Experience with CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Cloud Development
  .
• Expertise in Java, Spring, REST/SOAP web services
  .
• Strong understanding of microservices, JUnit testing, and mocking frameworks.
• Familiarity with Web Sphere/Tomcat environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Pay Range: $70 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
