Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the Front Office Applications Support team supporting Global Markets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Develop and maintain high-performance Python applications for front-office trading systems

+ Collaborate with quantitative research teams to implement domain-specific data analysis tools

+ Design and enhance RESTful APIs and full-stack solutions using ReactJS

+ Work on risk and pricing application development within the global market environment

+ Support offshore teams and ensure seamless integration of support functions

** What's Needed?*
* + 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in object-oriented languages, especially Python

+ 7+ years as a senior developer working on front-office banking applications

+

Experience with quantitative research and domain-specific data analysis

+ Proficiency in REST, ReactJS, and full-stack development

+ Knowledge of relational and object databases; experience with trade surveillance is a plus
