Duration: 18 Months

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (3 Days Onsite)

Seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong ANSI SQL, FIX protocol, Kafka/messaging, REST APIs, and distributed systems experience to support the transformation of a next-generation Dynamic Pricing Engine within a leading financial services environment.

• Required Skills (Must-Have)
• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable Python-based solutions supporting the Dynamic Pricing Engine platform.
• Collaborate with business users, traders, and technology teams to refine requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Build and support RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event‑driven applications.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Apply software engineering best practices including TDD/BDD, CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Work with financial market data and messaging technologies to support pricing and trading workflows.
• Provide production and business‑facing support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring platform stability.
• Drive improvements in scalability, maintainability, performance, and system architecture.
• Contribute to the implementation of next‑generation pricing technology initiatives.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range*: $65/hr - $70/hr on W2.

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
