Python Developer

Salary: $30,000 - 32,500 per year

• We need at least 5 years of strong Python development experience;
  Java experience is a plus.
• We look for hands-on experience designing and building complex server-side components.
• We require background in Financial Services, ideally in markets, front-office derivatives risk systems, pre-trade/origination, or post-trade management systems.
• We expect a computer science degree or an equivalent qualification.
• We want a solid understanding of Agile and Lean software development practices and related tooling.
• We need someone who can thrive in a fast-paced setting, work effectively with demanding stakeholders, and independently prioritize and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, including the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly and concisely.

• We will have you develop and maintain Python-based server-side solutions.
• We will rely on you to design and deliver complex components for financial systems.
• You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and interpret complex requirements.
• You will prioritize your own workload and handle issues independently in a fast-moving environment.
• You will communicate progress, challenges, and solution options clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• You may contribute Java work where needed, depending on project needs.
