Dental hygienist; Part-time

Sneath Family Dentistry is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic team! We are a collaborative practice dedicated to providing top-tier care in both general and pediatric dentistry. • $40 - $47 per hour

• Licensure:
  Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Illinois.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred.
• Clinical Expertise:
  Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and infection control.
• Specialties:
  Experience in Pediatric Dentistry and working comfortably with children.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Exceptional patient counseling skills and the ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor

• Provide Preventative Care:
  Perform comprehensive cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar.
• Clinical Assessments:
  Review medical histories, take vital signs, and conduct thorough patient assessments.
• Imaging & Diagnostics:
  Operate medical imaging equipment to take and develop X-rays following strict safety protocols.

  Collaboration:
  
  Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.

  Education:
  
  Counsel patients on oral hygiene, preventive health, and post-treatment care.
• Sterilization & Safety:
  Maintain rigorous infection control standards, including instrument sterilization and aseptic techniques.
• Documentation:
  Manage electronic health records (EHR) with high accuracy, ensuring HIPAA compliance and proper medical coding.
