Join the Walgreens team as a Customer Service Associate to provide a delightful customer experience and support store operations. The role involves interacting with customers, handling transactions, assisting with product placement, maintaining store cleanliness, and following company policies.

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers, greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members and demonstrate Walgreens service traits.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service throughout customer interactions.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items to customers.
• Process customer purchases on the cash register, collect cash, distribute change, and handle voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records according to store manager instructions.
• Follow company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super‑structure, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation and placement of consumable items, utilizing first-in, first-out method and restock-outs.
• Operate store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services and other products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities and handle local store orders.
• Assist with interior and exterior maintenance, ensuring a clean and orderly store.
• Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Preferably six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preferably prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Preference for English fluency (excluding Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
