DB, Document
DB, Elasti Cache, Managed Blockchain, Neptune, and Timestream—are massively scaled services critical to our customers’ solutions. You will help make these purpose‑built databases solve Intelligence Community missions.
Because this position supports U.S. Government missions, the candidate must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

- Actively participate in deep‑dive troubleshooting and technical post‑mortem discussions to identify root causes of complex issues.

- Have strong Linux fundamentals and experience working with Linux.
- Be coachable, eager to learn, and possess good fundamentals that build both technical and organizational skills.
On a typical day, ADC Engineers dive deep to root‑cause a customer issue, investigate why a metric is trending the wrong way, consult with top engineers at Amazon, or discuss radical new approaches to automate operational issues. You’ll become an expert at AWS Services platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation.
About The TeamUtility Computing (UC) brings product innovations—from foundational services like Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2 to consistently released new product innovations that set AWS’s services and features apart. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
BasicQualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+.
- 1+ year Linux systems administration experience.
- 1+ year technical troubleshooting / support experience.
- 1+ year networking experience.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with service‑oriented architecture and web services.
- Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems.
