Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities- Know and follow all Company safety rules, maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, and fully participate in company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
- Respond to customer requests.
- Travel to designated sites and perform professional quality field service repairs consistent with company standards.
- Advise the Generator Service Manager and Chief Engineer of parts needed for necessary repairs.
- Keep Manager and Chief Engineer continually apprised, utilizing leadership to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary.
- Document detailed, complete, and legible descriptions of all repair operations performed.
- Accurately record time, expenses, and mileage.
- Travel 80‑90% of the time in an assigned region, and/or work overtime, weekends, or holidays, sometimes on short notice.
- Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; pushing and pulling a maximum force of 50 lbs.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): protective glasses, gloves, and footwear as required.

- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience, OR 1+ years of data center or mission‑critical facilities experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of data center engineering experience.

CompensationThe base pay for this position ranges from $59,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $133,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
