Pay Range: $2000 - $2200 weekly gross
Schedule: 7a-3:30p, 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly. Prior travel experience preferred


Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a RN
  • Corrections experience preferred
  • Valid Registered Nurse license
  • Be willing to obtain MD or hold compact state licensure
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
