The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an early-career, inside sales role focused on building pipeline and generating new sales opportunities for our sales department. This position provides hands‑on exposure to sales strategy, customer engagement, and market development, with a clear path for growth into outside sales or other commercial roles.

- Learn Alliance’s products, services, and value proposition and communicate them effectively to customers
- Prospect new and existing accounts through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach
- Research accounts, identify decision-makers, and generate interest in Alliance solutions
- Qualify leads and uncover customer needs and pain points
- Consistently meet or exceed activity and opportunity generation targets
- Schedule meetings and pass qualified opportunities to Account Executives
- Follow up on inbound leads and maintain ongoing prospect relationships
- Track all outreach, activity, and opportunities accurately in Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support territory growth
- Participate in ride‑alongs, customer meetings, and field sales activities as part of your development
- Approximately 60% in‑office conducting outbound prospecting and lead development
- Approximately 40% supporting field sales through meetings, ride‑alongs, and customer engagement
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college experience required
- 1+ year of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a customer‑facing role preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with outbound outreach and handling objections professionally
- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong working relationships
- Self‑motivated, organized, and persistent with strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify customer challenges and assess value‑driven solutions
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM strongly preferred
- Positive attitude and resilience in a performance‑driven environment
