Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchant to manage furniture orders from product development and sampling through production, quality control, packing, and shipment.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in furniture merchandising, export orders, vendor coordination, production follow-up, and buyer communication.

Key Responsibilities
Manage customer and export orders from order confirmation to shipment.
Coordinate with buyers regarding product specifications, drawings, finishes, samples, and approvals.
Prepare and maintain product specifications, BOMs, costing sheets, and order details.
Coordinate closely with production, purchase, quality, stores, and packing teams.
Follow up on production schedules and ensure timely order completion.
Monitor raw material and hardware requirements for production.
Coordinate product sampling and obtain buyer approvals.
Check product quality and specifications before final packing.
Coordinate packaging requirements according to buyer/export standards.
Track order status and provide regular updates to management and customers.
Identify production or quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
Maintain proper order documentation and records.
Coordinate with logistics/shipping teams for dispatch and shipment planning.
Support new product development and furniture collection development.
Assist in costing and pricing of new and existing products.
Requirements
3–7 years of experience in furniture merchandising.
Experience in furniture manufacturing and export is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of wooden and industrial furniture.
Experience handling international buyers and export orders.
Good understanding of furniture construction, materials, hardware, finishes, and packaging.

Experience with BOM, costing, specifications, drawings, and production follow-up.
Strong vendor and supplier coordination skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines independently.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates who have worked with furniture manufacturers/exporters, buying houses, international furniture brands, or export-oriented furniture companies will be preferred.
