Monahans, one of Sumer’s hubs, works closely with small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK and Ireland. We help clients navigate complex financial needs—from compliance and reporting to strategic business advice—so they can focus on running and growing their businesses.

• Prepare accurate financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and relevant tax regulations.
• Liaise with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries promptly.
• Support senior accountants and auditors with ad hoc tasks and reporting as required.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, Quick Books)
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
• Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
