A growing bookkeeping firm serving small to mid-sized businesses is seeking an in-house Bookkeeper to join its team. While the role supports leadership functions, it is best suited to a mid-level professional who is confident in their skills, ready to take ownership of their work, and eager to grow into a senior or lead position over time.

This role combines advanced bookkeeping responsibilities with client interaction and internal coordination, offering clear room for professional growth as the firm expands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced bookkeeping for multiple small to mid-sized business clients
  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping up to trial balance
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding financial queries and reporting
  • Coordinate workflows with internal staff and support junior team members as needed
  • Assist with general office administration and process improvement
  • Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in a firm environment)
  • Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop
  • Solid working knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Office
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional client-facing manner
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
