This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Johannesburg. The Senior Accountant will manage the preparation of financial statements, oversee tax filings, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include conducting financial analyses, overseeing budgets, reconciling accounts, and managing audits. Collaboration with internal teams and ensuring regulatory compliance will be integral to this role.
Qualifications- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax planning
- Experience with auditing and regulatory compliance
- Expertise in accounting tools, financial software, and general ledger management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and communicate financial information effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CA certification is preferred
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or financial leadership role is highly valued
