An established audit and accounting firm based in Krugersdorp, Johannesburg is offering an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious Trainee Accountant to complete their SAICA articles within a supportive and professional environment.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have recently completed matric and are looking to start a long-term career in finance, audit, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to the full audit and accounting cycle, including:

• Participating in client audits under the guidance of experienced Seniors
• Preparing and analysing financial statements in accordance with relevant reporting standards
• Assisting with tax calculations and statutory submissions
• Performing reconciliations and supporting day-to-day accounting functions
• Assisting with year-end accounting processes and financial closures
• Gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Accounting as a subject is essential)
• Enrolled in or completed a SAICA-accredited degree (advantageous)
• Strong ambition to build a long-term career in audit and accounting
• Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a team environment
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability
