An established audit and accounting firm based in Krugersdorp, Johannesburg is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their professional team.
This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with 2–3 years’ experience within the audit sector who is looking to grow their career in a structured and supportive environment
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and maintaining accurate financial records
- Performing reconciliations (bank, creditors, debtors, and general ledger)
- Preparing management accounts and financial statements
- Assisting with audit preparations and supporting audit engagements
- Handling VAT calculations and submissions
- Supporting year-end accounting processes and statutory compliance
- Liaising with clients regarding financial information and queries
- 2–3 years’ experience within the audit sector
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance (beneficial)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
