Creditors Payroll Administrator

Creditors (Accounts Payable)

• Full creditors function from invoice receipt to payment
• Capture supplier invoices and credit notes on Sage Pastel
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs
• Liaise with suppliers regarding queries and payment terms
• Ensure correct allocation of expenses and VAT compliance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Capture and verify employee hours, leave, overtime, and deductions
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PAYE, UIF, SDL, etc.)
• Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management
• Handle payroll queries from employees confidentially
• Maintain employee payroll records and documentation

• Matric (essential); relevant accounting/payroll qualification advantageous
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in creditors and payroll
• Proven experience working on Sage Pastel
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and accounting principles
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
