HIRING | Creditors Clerk — Packaging Manufacturer

Johannesburg West, Gauteng Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month Permanent position

A well-established packaging manufacturer requires an accurate and deadline-driven Creditors Clerk to manage the full creditors function. This is a stable, office-based role with no weekend work.

• Manage the full creditors function from invoice receipt to payment
• Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
• Capture and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously
• Prepare and reconcile monthly supplier statements
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, queries and discrepancies
• Prepare payment schedules and load payments for approval
• Maintain the age analysis and ensure creditors are paid within terms
• Liaise with suppliers on account queries and remittances
• Maintain accurate supplier records and filing
• Assist with month-end close, accruals and audit requirements
• Support the finance team with general accounting administration
• Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting
• Bookkeeping or finance qualification advantageous
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a full creditors function
• Manufacturing or FMCG environment advantageous
• Strong reconciliation experience — must be able to reconcile a complex supplier account independently
• Computer literate — MS Office with strong Excel
• Experience on Pastel Partner
• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Methodical and well organised
• Able to work to strict month-end deadlines
• Professional and firm in supplier communication
• Trustworthy and discreet with financial information
• Works independently with minimal supervision
