Assistant Manager Internal Audit

This assistant manager role will be responsible for planning and executing internal audit engagements, including risk-based audits of financial and operational processes, evaluation of internal controls, and testing of compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with business stakeholders, supporting the development and execution of the annual internal audit plan, contributing to continuous improvement of the audit methodology, and assisting in special reviews or investigations as needed.

The role also involves mentoring junior team members, supporting data-driven audit techniques, and collaborating closely with other advisory teams to deliver integrated, value-adding insights for clients.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or Internal Auditing.
• Must be working towards a professional designation e.g. CIA or CISA.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years work experience in internal audit.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw sound conclusions.
• Demonstrate experience in internal controls design and assessment, including evaluating process effectiveness and control adequacy.
• Working knowledge of risk management frameworks, governance principles, and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and present findings to management.
