Reporting Accountant

Our client, a global brand in the imaging and business technology space, operates within the distribution industry, where accurate financial and sales reporting is essential to tracking performance across the business.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Finance, you’ll work beyond routine accounting. Your focus will include global reporting requirements, sales figures, monthly reconciliations and reporting deadlines, alongside audit preparation, fixed asset projects and environmental reporting. Excel is central to the reporting process, while Power BI knowledge would be an added advantage.

• Compile global financial and sales reports, ensuring monthly deliverables are accurate, complete and submitted on time
• Perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and support month-end reporting and financial reviews
• Assist with audit requirements and fixed asset projects, including maintaining supporting documentation and tracking project-related information
• Contribute to environmental reporting and wider finance projects, working with the finance team to meet reporting requirements

• BCom Finance
• 5+ years’ relevant experience, with proven global reporting experience essential
• Strong Excel skills, particularly working with complex spreadsheets and financial data;
  Power BI advantageous
• Distribution industry exposure preferred, with strong analytical skills, accuracy and the ability to manage recurring reporting deadlines
