Description:
The Business Analyst will support the Business Banking IT team in defining, analysing, and implementing change initiatives that enhance corporate and commercial banking processes. This includes initiatives related to client onboarding, credit origination, payments, and related customer lifecycle processes. The role requires an analytical thinker with deep domain experience in business banking and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and system solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for change initiatives.
- Analyse current‑state business and system processes and recommend improvements aligned to business strategy.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and testing teams.
- Support solution design across onboarding, credit, and payments processes to ensure process efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct impact assessments for business and technology changes.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and system analysts to drive end‑to‑end delivery of enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business users.
- Prepare business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and procedure manuals.
- Track and report on project deliverables, risks, and dependencies within the change portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a bank or financial institution.
- Potential experience within Business Banking.
- Credit origination and approval workflows.
- Payments and cash management solutions.
- Solid understanding of business and IT change management processes.
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Structured approach to documentation and process design.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
- Detail‑oriented, with ability to manage multiple change initiatives simultaneously.
