Contracts Manager​/Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager/Project Manager to oversee sports field construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management and a strong understanding of contract management processes.

Responsibilities:
– Manage all aspects of sports field construction projects from planning to completion
– Create project schedules, budgets, and timelines
– Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality project delivery
– Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications
– Review and negotiate contracts and manage contract changes
– Prepare and submit project reports as required
– Handle any project-related issues or disputes that may arise
– Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
– Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on sports field construction
– Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
– Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
– Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
– Professional certification (. PMP) is a plus
– Afrikaans & English
