Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyors – Major Infrastructure & Building Programmes

A leading international construction and cost consultancy is seeking a number of experienced Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyors (MRICS, PrQS/SACQSP) to join established project teams in Doha and Kigali, supporting the delivery of major high-value infrastructure and built-environment programmes.

These are multiple appointments across significant capital projects comprising complex building, infrastructure, civil engineering and specialist construction packages.

Candidates MUST be Chartered Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and have a minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).

The positions form part of multidisciplinary consultancy teams providing cost, commercial and contract management services on behalf of major public-sector, government-backed and institutional clients.

Successful candidates will take responsibility for the post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management of substantial construction packages, working closely with clients, consultants, project management teams and Tier 1 contractors.

These are senior, hands-on QS positions requiring strong technical commercial capability across valuations, variations, change management, claims, cost reporting, forecasting and final accounts.

The successful candidates will join major high-value capital programmes in Doha or Kigali, working across substantial infrastructure, building and specialist construction packages.

Depending upon the specific project and location, packages may incorporate:

• Major buildings and operational facilities
• Commercial, institutional and public buildings
• Roads and civil infrastructure
• Utilities and associated infrastructure
• Specialist MEP and building-services systems
• Transport-related infrastructure
• ICT, security and operational technology
• Utility diversions and enabling works
• Refurbishment, expansion and new-build construction
• Complex construction within live or operational environments

The programmes involve multiple contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers delivering packages simultaneously, creating sophisticated commercial, contractual and stakeholder environments.

Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will provide comprehensive post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management across one or more substantial construction packages.

• Managing post-contract commercial and cost activities across major works packages.
