Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 CTC per month, depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a retail business operating in the DIY, hardware and home improvement sector. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects, coordinating contractors and suppliers, overseeing installations, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines.

• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resources and deadlines.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee project activities, installations and site progress.
• Manage procurement, project costs, variations and contractor performance.
• Identify risks, delays and challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Monitor quality standards and health and safety requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed according to agreed specifications and timelines
• Coordinate project handovers and resolve outstanding issues.
• Travel domestically to project sites as required.

• Proven project management experience in retail, DIY, hardware, home improvement, installations or a related environment.
• Understanding of retail-related projects and installation coordination.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers, budgets and timelines.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel domestically.

• Experience in shelving, storage, fixtures, fittings, furnishings or home improvement products.
• A qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
