Construction Project Planner

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Planner to join their team, supporting projects across Randburg and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating comprehensive project schedules, ensuring that all construction activities are planned efficiently and executed on time. • Develop and maintain detailed master schedules for construction projects using planning software.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather schedule information and identify potential conflicts.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying deviations and forecasting potential delays.
• Prepare regular progress reports, including schedule performance indicators and look-ahead schedules.
• Analyze the impact of changes, delays, and acceleration requests on the overall project timeline.
• Assist in the development of resource loading and leveling plans to optimize workforce and equipment utilization.

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Planner or Scheduler.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations.
• Ability to analyze complex project data and present findings clearly.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
