The Strategic Writer synthesizes complex inputs—including technical architectures, commercial models, client strategies, and competitive insights—into clear, persuasive narratives for large strategic sales opportunities.

• Develop overarching deal narratives and messaging frameworks
• Write and refine executive-level content for proposals, presentations, value propositions, case studies, and supporting assets
• Partner with designers to ensure written and visual storytelling are tightly integrated
• Translate highly technical content into clear, client-centric language without losing credibility or nuance
• Work at pace under tight, client-driven deadlines, often across multiple concurrent pursuits
• Champion the use of AI-assisted writing tools to accelerate drafting, editing, and content iteration while maintaining quality and consistency

The team operates much like an external agency, requiring flexibility, resilience, and comfort working in fast-moving.

• Exceptional written communication skills with a strong command of structure, tone, and narrative flow
• Proven ability to craft executive-level messaging for senior client audiences
• Strong strategic thinking—able to connect business outcomes, technology, and client value into a coherent story
• Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts

• Experience writing for consulting, technology, or professional services environments
• Familiarity with large-scale digital, cloud, data, AI, or transformation programmes
• Experience contributing to or leading responses for complex RFPs or strategic bids

Required Qualifications and Expectations

• 5+ years of relevant professional writing experience (consulting, agency, in-house strategy, or similar)
• Demonstrable portfolio of strategic writing (proposals, thought leadership, executive communications, long-form narratives)
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across EMEA
• Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field
