Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and commercially minded Creative Designer & Marketing Director to support a US-based client, leading the visual identity and creative direction of their brand across digital, marketing, and merchandise channels.
This role combines design execution with creative leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual assets, leading creative campaigns, maintaining brand consistency, and developing merchandise concepts that strengthen brand presence.
The ideal candidate is both an artist and a strategic thinker — someone who can design compelling visuals while also shaping the broader creative direction of marketing initiatives.
This role will work remotely while aligning with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Key Responsibilities:Creative Direction
- Own and develop the overall creative direction and visual identity of the brand.
- Ensure consistency of branding across all platforms including marketing, email, social media, merchandise, and digital assets.
- Conceptualize and lead creative campaigns that support marketing and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, leadership, and external partners to execute creative strategies.
Design high-quality visual assets for:
- Marketing campaigns
- Social media
- Website content
- Sales materials
- Presentations
Additional responsibilities include:
- Creating original illustrations, graphics, and artwork aligned with brand style.
- Producing visually compelling designs that communicate messages clearly and effectively.
- Design email marketing campaigns
, including layouts, banners, and graphics. - Work closely with marketing teams to ensure emails are visually engaging and optimized for performance.
- Maintain brand consistency across email templates and automated marketing flows.
- Design and develop branded merchandise
, including apparel, promotional items, and branded products. - Create artwork and concepts for merchandise collections.
- Work with suppliers and production partners to ensure designs translate effectively to physical products.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create visual assets that support product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
- Ensure designs align with broader marketing strategy and messaging.
- Contribute creative ideas that enhance brand engagement and visibility.
- 3–6+ years experience in graphic design, creative direction, or visual design roles.
- Strong artistic ability and creative conceptual thinking
. - Proficiency in design tools such as:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Figma or similar tools.
- Experience designing email marketing assets and campaigns.
- Experience creating merchandise designs or brand products.
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to translate marketing ideas into compelling visual assets.
- Strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Experience working in fast-growing startups or marketing-driven organizations
. - Experience collaborating with marketing teams on campaigns.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Hub Spot, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Experience designing merchandise or apparel graphics
