** Job Profile Summary
** Owning creative quality of all team output and deliverables and responsible for the quality of the final creative work and usability elements delivered Establish the art direction on all projects by undertaking hands-on creative projects, either independently or in support of the design studio
** Key Responsibilities
*** Establishment, alignment and management of target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency.
* Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
* Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
* Develop and manage integrated, innovative media plans and processes, ensuring efficient spend and achievement of optimal brand exposure.
* Coordinate the implementation of special projects by ensuring business requirements are met and progress reports submitted.
* Research, develop and implement creative design needs to support and enhance business activities.
* Management of print production process by understanding client needs, giving clear production briefs and specifications and manage supplier terms and costs.
* Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
* Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.
** Qualification and Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related creative field
* Diploma in Digital Communications, Media/Multimedia Design, or equivalent qualification
* 3–5 years of relevant industry experience within a creative or design environment
* Advantageous: UX/UI design experience and familiarity with digital product design principles
* Strong working knowledge of HTML mailer coding for marketing and communication campaigns
