JOB FUNCTIONS:
- A vacancy currently exists for a Technical Trainer which will support with the transition into the credit bearing environment. The incumbent will focus on Toyota and Lexus Hi-tech training, the TEAM GP program, Assessments, deliver New Model Training, support with training on NEVs, and Develop and Design course material for the new Learner Management System (LMS). The incumbent needs to be a Subject Matter Expert with the qualification as outlined below to become a constituent Assessor and Moderator.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Management:
- Application of 5S Safety Principles
- Responsible for maintaining high standards relating to workshop, stores, tools, and training vehicles.
- Reports and analysis of TEAM GP
- Preparation:
- Preparation of Training material, training aids and components to world class standards
- Develop pathways and course design documents for new LMS
- Identify new model information and training
- Prepare NCF and presentations
- Confirm and monitor dealer and fleet course enrolments
- Facilitation:
- Professional training facilitation
- Superb Presentation ability
- Grading:
- Assist with OEM’S technical grading system
- Maintain questionnaires and evaluations
- Assist with accreditation of course content to credit bearing training and legislative requirements.
- Regional and National
Skills:- Plan Regional and National Skills activities
- Plan achievement of participation objectives
- Control quality and standards
- NQF Level 6 (Minimum 360 credits on level 8 framework) relevant qualification.
- Trade qualification (Technical Diploma) – trade test both theory & practical.
- Master Technician (G1).
- A minimum of 3 Years Dealer Experience.
- Assessor and Moderator experience will be an advantage
- PC literacy (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills)
