What the job involves
Providing structured support programmes for apprentices while they are placed with employers
Conducting regular site visits to check in on apprentice progress and wellbeing
Facilitating support calls and maintaining consistent engagement off-campus
Implementing processes and systems that strengthen the apprentice support journey
Running the Employer Readiness Programme
Building strong relationships between industry partners and apprentices
Working closely with employers to ensure a positive, productive placement experience
Contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of support initiatives
What you need to be considered
Honours degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Community Development or a related field
2 years+ experience running support programmes for youth
Proven ability to work across multiple systems to empower and develop young people
Strong organisational and relationship-building skills
A valid driver’s licence and your own car (site visits are essential to this role)
Passion for education, learner experience and people development
Clear, confident communication skills and a proactive mindset
Bonus points if you
Have experience in facilitation, teaching or training
Thrive in a start-up environment and enjoy building things from the ground up
Are resourceful, solutions-focused and comfortable with change
Feel deeply motivated by social impact and youth empowerment
