This position requires full-time presence at our Centurion, South Africa office.
Alaris Antennas invites ambitious engineering students to apply for our 2026 Bursary Program. We're investing in the next generation of RF and microwave specialists through comprehensive funding packages that cover tuition, accommodation, and living expenses.
Postgraduate Bursary
We offer full funding to Masters or PhD students with a passion for microwave and RF antenna research.
Funding Covers- Tuition and registration fees
- Accommodation
- Subsistence allowance
- Minimum 70% average for the academic year
- Interest in pursuing a career in the microwave/RF antenna field
- Willingness to complete vacation work at our Johannesburg offices (minimum 6 weeks total over a 2-year period—accommodation and flights covered)
- Sign a bursary contract including a work-back clause (either through permanent employment or repayment of funds)
Due to the specialized nature of our work, preference is given to students with exceptional results in relevant subjects, particularly Electromagnetics. Applicants must provide a letter of support from their supervisor indicating their research topic. We will supply a list of research areas of interest to Alaris.
No BBBEE requirements apply to this bursary.
Undergraduate Bursary
We support 3rd and 4th year students studying Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Computer, or Software Engineering who are interested in the microwave/RF antenna field.
Requirements- Minimum 75% average for the academic year
- Willingness to complete vacation work at our Johannesburg offices (3 weeks, twice per year—accommodation and flights covered)
- Sign a bursary contract including a work-back clause (either through permanent employment or repayment of funds)
Preference is given to students with high academic results in relevant subjects, particularly Electromagnetics. Bursary renewal for subsequent years is possible based on performance.
