SENIOR & FET PHASE TEACHERS – JANUARY 2027

To teach - Gr 8 English HL and Life Orientation/ Creative Arts

A highly successful and established independent school group is expanding its footprint into Johannesburg’s inner city
, and we are looking for passionate and committed Senior and FET Phase Teachers to join the founding team from January 2027
.

Located close to the ABSA Head Office in downtown Johannesburg
, this exciting new school will be an extension of a well-established and highly successful Pre-Primary and Primary School
.

The school will open in a newly renovated building
, with an initial intake of approximately 120 Grade 8 learners
. The majority of these learners will transition from the group’s existing primary school, providing an exciting opportunity to help shape a new secondary school within an already successful educational community.

• Are passionate about teaching and committed to developing young people academically, socially and personally.

• Hold an appropriate teaching qualification and SACE registration
  .

• Have relevant experience in the Senior and/or FET Phase
  .

• Are enthusiastic, energetic and willing to contribute to the development of a new school.

• Can create a positive, structured and engaging learning environment.

• Are committed to high standards of teaching, learning and professional conduct.

• Are willing to become actively involved in the broader life of the school.

We are particularly interested in experienced teachers across the Senior and FET phases, with opportunities likely to include a range of core and elective subjects.
