Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor with a background in Engineering to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in cost estimation and quantity surveying for engineering projects. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and budget tracking for engineering projects
  • Support in managing quantity surveying tasks on engineering projects
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
  • Identify project risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards
  • Provide support to senior quantity surveyors as needed

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional office with commercial building experience
  • Experience or knowledge of quantity surveying within an engineering context
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and tools
