Senior Geologist

Overview

This role is ideal for a driven individual with multi-commodity experience, including gold (Au), base metals and critical metals.

• Lead and oversee field-based exploration teams across multiple project sites
• Implement and manage geological mapping, sampling, drilling and data collection programmes
• Interpret geological data and provide high-quality technical reporting
• Develop and refine geological models to support exploration decision-making
• Ensure all field activities comply with health, safety and environmental standards
• Mentor and guide junior geological staff
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and external stakeholders

• Degree in Geology or similar (MSc highly advantageous)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in geological exploration, geological interpretation, logging, modelling and reporting
• Proven track record working across multi-commodity projects (Au, base metals and critical metals)
• Strong field leadership skills and ability to manage exploration teams in remote environments
• Proficiency with geological software packages (e.g. Leapfrog, Micromine, ArcGIS)
• Willingness to travel and spend extended periods in the field
