Are you someone who has experience in:- Providing high-level technical support for network telecommunications Voice Over IP (VoIP) infrastructure for the entire First Rand Group.
- Non-negotiable experience required in supporting and monitoring, troubleshooting etc. of Oracle Session Border Controller
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a telecoms engineer supporting Oracle Session Border Controller
- Solid understanding of SIP protocol
- MySQL experience
- Linux administration experience advantageous
- Good understanding of networks
- Monitor and support the Session Border Controllers (SBCs) within the Group.
- Monitor and support the peripheral systems within the Voice environment including the Call‑Routing technology and Monitoring technology within the Group.
- Responsible for planning and upgrading the SBC and peripheral systems within the Voice environment.
- Ensure the optimal routing of calls to minimize service outages to the Group.
- Liaise with External Service Providers with respect to Service Outages and troubleshooting of Operational issues.
- Liaise with Internal Network Operational teams to minimise service outages to the Group.
- Liaise with Internal Voice Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) Operations Teams to minimize service outages to the Group.
- Ensure optimized customer experience and service throughout the value chain.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Maintain up to date on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure integrated view and reporting of relevant business information.
- Report on and / or find solutions to items resulting from findings by internal or external audit and client management risk.
- Degree or Diploma and the required Certification
- 2 to 3 years related
